She is adored by fans and her model good looks have made her a pin-up for millions, but Nicole Scherzinger has revealed how “lonely” she is after splitting from Lewis Hamilton.
Speaking for the first time since her break-up with the 28-year-old F1 driver just weeks ago, the X Factor judge said she was trying to throw herself in to her work.
Nicole, 35, said: “I don’t have anyone here. I don’t have my family, I don’t even have friends. You make sacrifices, it is hard.
“It gets lonely, but I am working all the time – if I am not on X Factor though I just put myself in the studio.”

The singer revealed the only person she spends time with is her publicist, Becky Lockett, who has been helping her explore London. A source said the pair had been going to posh restaurants as well as Nando’s and curry houses.
Nicole revealed: “I love good food, so I’m getting to explore lots of restaurants. I take my publicist and my assistant as my dates.
“I am going flat hunting soon and I have started walking around the streets. I’m having a grand old time.”

Auditions for the new series of The X Factor have now kicked off. Delighted Nicole won as a judge last year with her solo act James Arthur, but despite her success, returning to the ITV show was a massive decision.
At the auditions at Wembley Arena this week she revealed: “I wasn’t sure. I’ve got to get the music right. I’m an artist and I haven’t felt like I’ve got enough of a cohesive album that I’m proud of to put out. And this takes up a lot of time, you know. So I was torn.”
Nicole will be joined on the panel by Gary Barlow and Louis Walsh. Sharon Osbourne is also making a comeback and Nicole said: “She’s a riot. The show’s more fun than ever.”
