At first, we didn't have much sympathy for Amanda Bynes - after all, she was just storming around New York being really mean to people, rude to her neighbours, calling people ugly and making nasty Twitter comments about cancer.
But after this week's incidents - where she set a small fire in someone's driveway in LA, and then ran around a shop frantically trying to wash the petrol off her tiny dog (what's the dog's name? Important!) and then getting taken to a psych ward in California and held under a 5150 hold - which means authorities felt she was a danger to herself or other people.
Which all adds up to a whole lot of sad. Unfortunately, Spring Breakers star Ashley Benson either doesn't feel so sorry for Amanda, or hasn't been checking 3am for updates. Shame on YOU, Ashley.

Don't be MEAN, Ashley!

She posted a picture of herself on Instagram mocking the troubled actress's famous be-wigged Twitter post, adding: "Doing my Amanda Bynes look this afternoon".
Oh Ashley. Now that's just MEAN when she can't defend herself with a Twitter rant. We wonder if Amanda thinks Ashley is hot or ugly? Actually, she's got bigger problems to think about right now.
According to Radar Online, Amanda's worried parents Lynn and Rick will have a hearing at Ventura County courthouse on Friday to ask for temporary conservatorship of their daughter.

A source said: “Rick and Lynn will appear before the judge on Friday to ask for a temporary conservatorship of their daughter. Her parents will both be petitioning to be the temporary proposed conservators, and want control of her personal and financial affairs.”
The US reports added: "Her parents are absolutely sick with worry about their daughter. They have previously met with lawyers to discuss the possibility of taking legal control of Amanda’s life. It’s a truly devastating situation for Amanda’s parents and their biggest concern is the health and safety of her.”
