Amanda Bynes 'placed under psychiatric hold for a further 30 days'

Amanda Bynes' psychiatric hold has reportedly been extended by 30 days at the request of her doctors.
The actress
has been in hospital for two weeks and it was decided she was too ill to leave after a judge travelled to her ward for an emergency hearing
on Friday, according to TMZ.
Amanda was originally placed under a 5150 hold for 72 hours in July
which was then extended for two weeks but she will now remain in
hospital for another 30 days and doctors can only get such an order if a
person is "gravely disabled as a result of a mental disorder". Amanda has been spotted wearing a number of different wigs recently
The star's parents, Rick and Lynn, are attempting to get a temporary
conservatorship over their daughter so they can control over her
finances and certain personal aspects of her life.
They are said to want the conservatorship to last until the end of
September when they are reportedly wanting to ask for full control of
their daughter's life.

It was unclear how she travelled across America
to California but when she arrived she allegedly started a fire on the driveway of a stranger's home
before she was sectioned.
In recent months Amanda became known for posting a string of bizarre tweets online and branding other stars ugly.
She was arrested after allegedly throwing a bong out of her New York
apartment window and has previously had her driving license suspended
for driving under the influence.
